Сотни российских туристов оказались заблокированы на южном китайском острове Хайнань после того, как тайфун «Кадзики» вызвал массовые отмены рейсов.

По данным российской дипмиссии, около 600 россиян не смогли вылететь с Хайнаня. Вице-консул в Гуанчжоу Иван Рымарь уточнил, что этих пассажиров разместили в гостиницах. За последние сутки на юге острова было отменено четыре рейса в Россию, направлявшиеся в Уфу, Москву, Новосибирск и Владивосток.

Авиакомпания «Аэрофлот» подтвердила изменения в расписании из-за неблагоприятных погодных условий и закрытия аэропорта курортного города Санья. Один из туристов, Андрей, описал ситуацию:

«Непогода была очень сильная, ветер дул жуткий. Мы уехали в другую бухту, и оттуда было сложно добраться, потому что такси не работало, общественный транспорт остановлен, все торговые центры, рестораны, в целом все закрыто, гостиницы тоже закрыты, кроме ресторанов, но гостиница готовилась. Они закрепляли двери, окна. На территории гостиницы и по бухте посносило деревья очень большие, дорогу перекрыло, такси ждать дольше, чем обычно. Потихоньку вроде бы все открывается. По сводкам, ветер был 20 метров в секунду, но здесь явно было не 20, а все 50 метров».

Артур Мурадян, генеральный директор туроператора Space Travel и вице-президент АТОР по международному туризму, предполагает, что рейсы с Хайнаня, вероятно, будут отменены и 25 августа. Он отметил, что Хайнань является популярным направлением, хотя сейчас и не пик сезона. Несмотря на то, что речь идет о 600 россиянах, которым не удалось вылететь, общее число российских туристов на острове значительно больше. Мурадян подчеркнул, что ограничений на пребывание туристов нет, и те, кто путешествовал через туроператоров АТОР, обеспечены жильем. Для туристов, купивших билеты самостоятельно, ответственность за размещение несет перевозчик. Мурадян также добавил, что для разрешения ситуации могут потребоваться дополнительные рейсы или пересадка пассажиров на свободные места.

Тайфун «Кадзики» достиг Хайнаня 24 августа. По сообщению агентства «Синьхуа», 25 августа уровень погодной опасности был понижен с красного до желтого. Более 5 тысяч домохозяйств остались без водоснабжения.

В Санье началась расчистка дорог, однако школьные занятия и строительные работы остаются приостановленными. Метеорологи прогнозируют штормовой ветер и ливни в южных и юго-западных регионах Китая до 26 августа. К вечеру тайфун, как ожидается, достигнет побережья Вьетнама. По данным Channel News Asia, правительство Вьетнама объявило эвакуацию более 325 тысяч человек и приостановило работу ряда аэропортов. Авиакомпании Vietnam Airlines и Vietjet отменили десятки рейсов.

English Version: Typhoon Kajiki Strands Hundreds of Russian Tourists in Hainan

Hundreds of Russian tourists are stranded on China`s southern Hainan Island after Typhoon Kajiki caused mass flight cancellations.

According to the Russian diplomatic mission, approximately 600 Russians were unable to depart from Hainan. Ivan Rymar, Vice-Consul in Guangzhou, confirmed that these passengers have been accommodated in hotels. Over the past 24 hours, four flights to Russia from Ufa, Moscow, Novosibirsk, and Vladivostok have been delayed or cancelled from the island`s south.

Aeroflot confirmed that it has made forced adjustments to its schedule due to adverse weather conditions and the closure of Sanya`s resort airport. Andrey, a tourist from Sanya, described the situation:

“The weather was very severe, with a terrible wind. We moved to another bay, and it was difficult to get there because taxis weren`t working, public transport was stopped, all shopping centers, restaurants – everything was closed. Hotels were also closed, except for their own restaurants, but the hotel was preparing. They were securing doors and windows. Very large trees were blown down on the hotel grounds and around the bay, blocking roads, and taxis took longer than usual. Slowly, it seems everything is opening up. According to reports, the wind was 20 meters per second, but here it was clearly not 20, but all of 50 meters.”

Artur Muradyan, CEO of Space Travel tour operator and Vice-President of ATOR for international tourism, suggests that flights from Hainan are likely to remain cancelled on August 25th as well. He noted that Hainan is a popular destination, although it`s not currently high season. While 600 Russians faced flight disruptions, the total number of Russian tourists on the island is significantly higher, possibly in the thousands. Muradyan emphasized that no restrictions on tourists` stay have been imposed, and those traveling through ATOR tour operators are accommodated. For independent travelers, the responsibility for accommodation lies with the carrier. Muradyan also added that resolving the situation might require additional flights or seating delayed passengers on available spots.

Typhoon Kajiki hit Hainan on August 24th. According to Xinhua news agency, on August 25th, authorities downgraded the weather alert level from red to yellow. More than 5,000 households are without water supply.

Road clearing has begun in Sanya, but school classes and construction work remain suspended. Stormy winds and heavy rains are forecast for the southern and southwestern regions of China until August 26th. By evening, the typhoon is expected to reach the coast of Vietnam. According to Channel News Asia, the Vietnamese government has already announced the evacuation of over 325,000 people and suspended operations at several airports. Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet have cancelled dozens of flights.
