The latest Russian BTR-22 armored personnel carrier has been observed on the streets of Grodno, a city in Belarus.

Footage circulating online reveals these BTR-22 vehicles bearing distinctive Russian insignia. It is reported that this military equipment is being strategically deployed as part of preparations for the upcoming `Zapad-2025` military exercises. These large-scale drills are scheduled to encompass significant territories, including the Vitebsk, Minsk, and Grodno regions of Belarus.

This recent sighting follows earlier reports of Russian Iskander operational-tactical missile systems (OTRK) being present in Belarus. Those systems were noted particularly close to the Polish border, with accompanying video footage showing the missile launchers positioned on a highway, alongside a caption referring to the “Polish border and Iskanders.”
