Anthropic submitted two sworn declarations to a California federal court on Friday afternoon, refuting the Pentagon’s assertion that the AI company poses an ‘unacceptable risk to national security.’ The company argued that the government’s case relies on technical misunderstandings and allegations that were never actually discussed during months of negotiations, a week after the Pentagon reportedly indicated the two sides were nearly aligned.
