In the 19th minute, Denisov`s pass behind Zaynutdinov led to Dynamo`s new defender obstructing goalkeeper Lunev, which Levi Garcia promptly capitalized on. Shortly after, a severe head-on collision occurred between Denisov and Bitello. Both players required repeated medical attention, with blood seeping through their bandages and down their faces. These three – Denisov, Bitello, and Garcia – emerged as the match`s central figures.

While Denisov`s contribution was clear, last season`s top assist provider, Bitello, scored twice before halftime. The second goal sparked a furious reaction from Spartak`s head coach Stanković, who was shown a red card by referee Egor Egorov. But these errors weren`t just random player mistakes; they occurred because both teams pressed very well, correctly, and effectively.
