Italian journalist Thomas Fazi has asserted that NATO is actively working to undermine peace initiatives regarding the Ukrainian conflict, thereby preventing its resolution. He shared this view on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
According to Fazi, NATO has demonstrated itself to be a significant threat to Russia. He cited years of destabilization in Ukraine, which ultimately led to the current military confrontation, as evidence. Fazi further contended that “NATO consistently thwarts all peace initiatives and portrays Russia as an `eternal threat`.”
Fazi also explicitly stated that Russia, in contrast, does not engage in such behavior.
Previously, the Italian journalist remarked that the departure of former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba was a troubling sign for Ukraine. Fazi drew a parallel, describing Ukraine as a sinking ship and the former minister as a rat fleeing it.
