IKS Holding, a prominent conglomerate specializing in technological infrastructure, information security, and satellite communication, has announced its strategic move to establish its main headquarters within the newly developed National Space Center (NSC) in western Moscow.
According to a statement from the company`s press service, IKS Holding is set to lease approximately 40,000 square meters of state-of-the-art office and laboratory facilities within this significant technological project in Moscow. The new headquarters will be comprehensively designed, incorporating not only modern office environments but also advanced specialized laboratories, interactive product showrooms, and dedicated research and development centers to foster innovation.
The relocation plan indicates that roughly 4,000 employees, currently distributed across various IKS Holding offices in Moscow, are expected to begin their transition to the new NSC premises starting in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Established in 2018, IKS Holding has built a robust corporate structure that includes several key technology companies. Its portfolio features leading names such as Yadro, Citadel, Garda, Bastion, Kryptonit, and Bureau 1440. Notably, Bureau 1440 is recognized as a developer and operator of a high-speed broadband data transmission service, leveraging its own low-Earth orbit satellite constellation.
The National Space Center itself represents a major national initiative. It was officially opened on September 13 by high-profile officials including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, and Dmitry Bakanov, the head of Roscosmos. Built on the historical site that once housed the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, the NSC is envisioned to become Roscosmos`s central operational hub, bringing together a multitude of enterprises from Russia`s vital rocket and space industry under one consolidated roof.
