Kanye West’s UK Ban Leads to Wireless Festival Cancellation

The Wireless music festival, set to take place in London, has been called off after rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was denied entry into the United Kingdom. This decision follows a growing political controversy surrounding his previous antisemitic comments.

West, legally recognized as Ye, had been scheduled to headline all three days of the festival in July. He reportedly submitted an application for a UK electronic travel authorisation (ETA) on Monday, which was subsequently rejected by British officials, preventing his travel to the UK.
