
Moscow is set to experience rainfall throughout Friday, with temperatures reaching up to +13 °C. However, a significant cooling trend is anticipated in the coming days, as the southern Cyclone Barbara brings temperatures down to +6 °C.
According to Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster from Meteo prognostic center, the heaviest rains are expected from Sunday through Tuesday, with the possibility of wet snow thereafter.

Warm weather with temperatures of +11…+13 °C will persist through Friday and Saturday. Saturday night will see light rain and temperatures of +7…+9 °C. The most intense rainfall is predicted for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with accumulated precipitation of 7 to 15 millimeters during daylight hours. Nighttime temperatures during this period will drop to +1…+6 °C. From October 14th to 16th, overnight temperatures could fall to zero degrees Celsius in some areas, with a possibility of light wet snow. Daytime temperatures between the 14th and 16th will also be colder, ranging from +3 to +8 °C. This cold spell is expected to last until the end of the second decade of the month, though a brief warming period above +10 °C is not ruled out for the third decade.
The Moscow Department of Transport has advised drivers to use public transport where possible and to exercise extra caution on the roads due to the deteriorating weather conditions.
