NASA Assesses Prospects for Dialogue with Roscosmos

Meeting between Space Agency Chiefs Could Define Future Cooperation, Says Stephen Siceloff.

WASHINGTON D.C. — Stephen Siceloff, the Public Affairs Officer at NASA`s John F. Kennedy Space Center, stated that the anticipated meeting between Roscosmos head Dmitry Bakanov and acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy holds the potential to significantly influence the direction of future discussions between the two prominent space organizations. This statement was made in anticipation of the scheduled talks.

Siceloff indicated that the core of this conversation would be dedicated to “how to pave that path.” He added, “We`ll see how things unfold,” when questioned about any positive shifts in collaborative efforts between NASA and Roscosmos since the current Trump administration took office.

Prior to this, Roscosmos`s press service had confirmed that Dmitry Bakanov arrived in the United States specifically for these negotiations with Sean Duffy, which were set to take place on July 31.
