Americans submitted over two thousand reports of UFO sightings during the first half of 2025, as stated by the US National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
The organization`s website data shows that 87 reports of alleged extraterrestrial activity were logged in the first week of July alone. The highest number of sightings was in January, with over 560 reports.
Cumulatively, reports for the first six months of 2025 exceeded 2,200.
The volume of reports from January to July this year was higher than during the corresponding periods in the previous two years.
Furthermore, a prior poll conducted by NewsNation television and Decision Desk HQ indicated that over 40% of US residents are convinced the government is concealing the truth about UFOs.
