A significant M-class solar flare was observed on the Sun during the early hours of Saturday. This celestial event was reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to data published on the Laboratory`s official website, the solar flare, specifically classified as M1.5, occurred around 1:00 AM Moscow time on September 20. In addition to this major event, three less intense C-class flares were also recorded throughout the remainder of Saturday.

Despite these recent solar activities, the geomagnetic environment around Earth remains calm and stable. Current space weather forecasts do not indicate any significant magnetic storms are expected in the immediate future.
