Putin Holds High-Level Meeting on Engine Manufacturing in Samara

Russian President Vladimir Putin convened a significant meeting in Samara to address crucial issues concerning the development of engine manufacturing. This high-profile event took place at the UEC-Kuznetsov enterprise, a pivotal entity within the United Engine Corporation (UEC), which itself operates under the umbrella of the Rostec state corporation. The UEC-Kuznetsov facility plays a vital role in the industry, specializing in the comprehensive cycle of gas turbine and rocket engines, encompassing their design, production, maintenance, and repair services.

The gathering brought together an extensive roster of senior government officials and prominent industry leaders. Among the distinguished participants were First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Presidential Aide Alexey Dyumin, Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, and Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov. Also present were Igor Komarov, the Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District, and Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, the Governor of the Samara Region. The military leadership was represented by Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Dmitry Yadrov, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, and Viktor Afzalov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
