Roscosmos Releases Video of Soyuz-5 First Stage Block Fire Tests

Moscow, October 11 – Russia`s State Space Corporation Roscosmos has publicly shared a video highlighting the crucial fire tests of the first stage block for its advanced Soyuz-5 rocket.

The footage, disseminated via the corporation`s official Telegram channel, provides a multi-angle perspective of the powerful engine ignition. It distinctly captures the impressive flames and towering plumes of exhaust smoke, offering a compelling visual record of the booster`s performance during these rigorous trials.

These vital fire tests were recently carried out at the Scientific Research Center of Rocket and Space Industry. Roscosmos confirmed that these successful trials represent the culmination of the ground-based development phase for the new launch vehicle, bringing it significantly closer to its anticipated inaugural flight.
