Scientists found a baby dinosaur hidden in rock and it is surprisingly cute

Researchers in South Korea have made an exciting discovery: a rare baby dinosaur, which they’ve affectionately named Doolysaurus, referencing a beloved cartoon character. Employing state-of-the-art CT scanning technology, the team was able to rapidly uncover previously hidden bones, including an intact skull, within the rock – a process significantly faster than conventional methods.

This juvenile dinosaur, speculated to have been fluffy and resembling a lamb, also contained gastroliths (stomach stones), indicating a diverse diet of both plants and small animals. This significant find suggests that numerous other dinosaur remains could still be awaiting discovery within South Korea’s geological formations.
