MOSCOW – Experts from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences have indicated that a moderate rise in solar activity is anticipated on Thursday, with no associated risks for Earth.
The laboratory`s daily forecast, shared via its official communication channels, specifies: “Geomagnetic activity is predicted to remain calm. While flare activity is currently low, a moderate increase is possible, though it poses no threat to our planet.”
Researchers further elaborated that during the previous 24-hour period, the geomagnetic environment surrounding Earth experienced only minor disturbances, and the Sun`s flare activity consistently remained at a low level.
