Despite a calm geomagnetic forecast, the Sun`s activity on Friday poses a risk of powerful solar flares with a high probability of impacting Earth. This warning comes from the experts at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKI RAS).

The daily outlook from the Laboratory confirms that while the Earth`s magnetic field is expected to remain undisturbed, the potential for significant flare activity from the Sun persists. Over the preceding 24 hours, similar conditions were observed: a stable geomagnetic environment coupled with elevated flare activity, though without any noticeable adverse effects on our planet.
