“In the photos, he has a beard, and I thought, ‘I’ll match that’,” Socha says, stroking his chin. However, he admits his beard isn’t perfect: “You say that, but see this bit? I’m struggling. It’s a bit patchy there. I’m happy with this bit, but then this needs work.”
The actor has just attended a screening of his new BBC thriller ‘The Cage’ and possesses an energetic demeanor, which seems to translate into his approach to acting. Much like his beard, he finds it challenging not to spot flaws in his performances. He usually avoids watching himself on screen, stating, “I’ll sort of nitpick away.” However, he enjoyed making ‘The Cage’ so much that he was looking forward to seeing it. “But the more you watch something, the more you find bits that you’re not too happy with.”
