In the coming days, the European part of Russia will fall under the influence of a stable anticyclone, which will bring mild and dry weather without precipitation or strong winds. Night frosts are not expected during this period.
A detailed forecast for the upcoming month was provided by Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the `Meteonovosti` information portal:
According to long-term forecasts, October in the capital region will be noticeably warmer than usual, exceeding the climatic norm by about 1-1.5 degrees Celsius. Particularly noteworthy is the absence of night frosts in Moscow for almost the entire month. Precipitation is expected to be below average. Nighttime temperatures will remain between 3-10 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will reach 10-15 degrees Celsius. However, in the second half of the month, temperatures will gradually begin to decrease, and precipitation will increase. Wet snow and further cooling are possible in the last decade of October.

Forecasters suggest that the upcoming weekend will bring a `second wave` of Indian summer to Moscow, with daytime temperatures up to +14-15 degrees Celsius. However, by the start of the next work week, the weather will return to typical autumn conditions.
