Assistant Sentenced to Over Three Years for Fatal Ketamine Injection of Matthew Perry

The personal assistant who administered ketamine injections to Matthew Perry, the beloved actor from “Friends,” without any medical qualifications, has received a prison sentence of three years and five months. These injections included one given on the very day the actor was discovered deceased in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home in 2023.

Kenneth Iwamasa, aged 61, had previously entered a guilty plea for distributing ketamine, which ultimately led to death or severe bodily harm. The sentence imposed upon him aligned with the penalty sought by the prosecution.
