The BBC Proms 2026 is set to be a truly grand event, marking two significant anniversaries: the 100th birthday of the legendary jazz trumpeter Miles Davis and the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America.

As part of the 99th season of concerts under the BBC’s direction, featuring 72 performances at the Royal Albert Hall and 14 across the UK, including new venues in Bristol, Gateshead, and for the first time in Mold, a vast panorama of British classical music talent will be showcased.
