American rapper Kanye West, legally known as Ye, has announced the postponement of his upcoming concert in Marseille, France. This decision comes shortly after reports emerged that France’s interior minister is seeking to block the US rapper from performing due to his past antisemitic remarks.
Sources indicate that the interior minister is “highly determined” to prevent the rapper from performing in the southern city in June because of his history of antisemitic statements.
“After much thought and consideration, it is my sole decision to postpone my show in Marseille, France until further notice,” the artist wrote on X.
