Martin Scorsese’s new documentary focusing on Pope Francis will have its global debut within the Vatican today. This screening is part of a series of events organized to mark the first anniversary of Pope Francis’s passing.
The film, officially titled Aldeas, The Final Dream of Pope Francis, is being presented by Scholas Occurrentes. This global organization, dedicated to fostering social inclusion and a culture of dialogue through sports, arts, and technology, was initially established in Argentina by Francis in 2001 when he served as the Archbishop of Buenos Aires. It later became a foundation following his election as pope in 2013.
