Grime artist Stormzy is set to produce a biographical film about football legend Ian Wright. The former Crystal Palace, Arsenal, and England striker, who later found success in television punditry, shared his vision for the movie, stating that while his life story contains challenging moments, he ultimately hopes it will inspire “hope and joy” in audiences.
The biopic, currently in development with Stormzy’s production company, Merky Films, will delve into the life of Wright, who was once Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer before Thierry Henry surpassed his record.
