(Photography as a Way of Life)

Backflips, Boulders, and Dancing Dogs: The Images That Shaped Art Photography

As photography gained mainstream recognition in the mid-20th century, a collective of Princeton teachers was instrumental in solidifying art photography as a distinct movement. A new exhibition celebrates the work and lives of photographers such as Minor White, Aaron Siskind, Harry Callahan, and others.

“Photography as a Way of Life” is on display at the Princeton University Art Museum until September 7.
