Jo and Kush: The Inspiring Duo of Race Across the World

In the midst of a break from foraging for walnuts in Kyrgyzstan’s ancient Arslanbob forest, 19-year-old Kush Burman shared his reflections on his close bond with his best friend and travel partner, Jo Diop. “I believe it’s only in the last few days that I’ve truly grasped how much I cherish Jo’s presence,” he admitted, his eyes glistening with emotion. “I genuinely value that Jo is consistently willing to look out for me. I’m not sure Jo fully comprehends the significance of that.”
