Manchester City’s star striker, Erling Haaland, is venturing into the world of film with his acting debut. He will lend his voice to a Viking character, also named Haaland, in an animated movie.
The film, titled “Viqueens,” is being directed by Harald Zwart, a Dutch-Norwegian filmmaker known for his work on “The Karate Kid” and “Agent Cody Banks.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Haaland will voice an animated rendition of himself.
Director Harald Zwart described Haaland as a perfect fit for the role, characterizing him as “powerful, fearless, and uniquely Norwegian.”
