A fire near Glasgow Central Station has once again highlighted the inherent vulnerability of the city's historic buildings. This incident led to significant rail disruptions and presented a distressingly familiar scene for many Glaswegians: smoke obscuring the skyline and streets congested with emergency vehicles.
